A bright late 70s Pop Art Original Tam Tam Stool in a bright green colour typical of this era and post modern design.
A great way to add a pop of colour to your interior, especially with post modern design being of the moment!
The design 'Le Tabouret' was conceived by Henry Massonnet (1922-2005), a French designer, produced in 1968 for his own company STAMP.
These were sold by Habitat, Terence Conran era. These were designed to last from durable plastic, rather than the throw away plastic used today. They are a small, ergonomic design stool with hidden storage underneath the seat, where the seat removes.
Part of the Tam Tam's success is thanks to Brigitte Bardot, the French model, singer and actress who was photographed on the stool
These were re-issued in the early 2000s by Habitat London.
