A Post Modern lamp by Habitat which is retro minimalist in style.
This design beased on a pill shape is a play in the 'Diablo' style made 90s by designer Jonas Damon and is quickly becoming a sought after design classic after in the last few years.
It's a classic design which feels modern with a shape reminiscent of 1960's Scandinavian hooped glassware and has many similarities with the iittala Lantern candle holder designed by Harri Koskinen (1970) in 1999.
Tall, cylindrical and coloured, the cased in blue cobalt glass over a white inner, the 'Capsule' table lamp gives out a cool ambient light, perfect for the bedroom or living room or home office. It looks great unlit as it passes for a vase.
