Vintage starburst pattern Atomic wall clock by Gibson, Baume & Co.London. 1 Hatton Garden London EC1.
This is called a 'self-starting' clock as it doesn't have a wind up mechanism which were usually used in industrial or commercial settings and hard wired into the mains.
Made from solid brass with brass rod spindles radiating from a circular centre adorned with in an atomic stylised starburst design with plain minimalist face.
The body is made from brass which has been lightly polished and lacquered, some of the spindles aren't original and have been replaced. It retains the original hands, with a matt black finish.
Classic, fully functional timepiece is in very good vintage condition.
This MCM clock is in original working condition with an electric movement and keeps accurate time
